Art Safari's creative adventures to

Namibia April & May - 17 days

Rainbows in the Dunes

18th April - 5th May 2010   Sorry, full!!

& 16th May - 1st June 2010    4 spaces available

After the rains the desert blooms and the skies are crystal clear, while we can paint in cooler temperatures. This safari takes us to the most impressive parts of Namibia, without absurd amounts of driving.

Wildlife, seascapes and landscapes are our subjects. Etosha National Park’s wildlife at salt pans, water holes and forests will start to fill our sketchbooks before the rhinos, desert elephant, lions, giraffe and prolific numbers of springbok of Damaraland.  Landscape paintings may include red and orange hills and rocks decorated with ancient rock engravings, or coastal pages from the Skeleton Coast's wild beaches with their seals and shipwrecks, or the mighty dunes of Sossusvlei where images of the windswept expanses will linger forever in our minds.
